Mental Health

Up-skilling leaders to have supportive conversations around mental health is strongly encouraged as a core standard in business. Evidence-based courses, rooted in best-practice, provide your people with the awareness, skills and confidence to make this a reality in your organisation and support an empowering workplace culture.

We advocate for mental wellness at work and are proud providers of the certified Mental Health First Aid England® courses alongside our everyday awareness workshops.

Our passion

Since 2017, we have facilitated engaging, thoughtful and impactful courses around the topics of mental health and wellbeing at work. Equipping hundreds of leaders, line managers and wellbeing champions to normalise conversations, recognise warning signs, and signpost professional help effectively whilst clearly articulating the boundaries of their role.

These courses and workshops bring lightness to what can be a challenging topic. We consistently receive feedback on the enjoyment levels of participants alongside the value added.

We care deeply about psychological safety and always start with a  bedrock of compassion, courage and curiosity.

What our clients say

“The team at Everyday People have been a pleasure to work with, from start to finish! We received plenty of support at every stage of the process and all of our Mental Health First Aiders completed the course feeling confident and inspired to make positive change at Poplar HARCA. The courses were extremely engaging and our facilitators had a breadth of interesting and useful experiences to draw upon which kept the discussions fresh and informative!”

- People and Development Advisor at Poplar HARCA

“As a business it’s really important that external facilitators fit with our culture to be authentic, knowledgeable and relaxed. The facilitator was all of this and more, his gentle nature, his credibility and expert knowledge of the subject shone through – couldn’t have picked a better person for the job.”

- Head of Learning, Development and Internal Communications at Student Roost

“Kat was excellent and brought a real positive genuine energy to the room. It was a pleasure over both days. Some of the content was quite heavy but this was well signposted before, during and after the course. The course gave me some valuable insights into why mental health is so important, how varied it is in its scope and how this qualification can provide the vital first line of defence in helping us support other people as well as ourselves. Highly recommended.”

- Course participant at Fuller, Smith & Turner

“Fantastic course, I now have a greater understanding of how to help my team. Really useful and informative – a course that should be throughout the country. Very relevant to our new campaign, I now have stronger and more robust knowledge. Really great at making quiet voices heard. Wonderful delivery, personal experiences brought it to life. The authentic approach made it a safe place to learn, thank you!”
